"Who's the Trapster?", you may be asking yourself.
First appearing in Strange Tales (1951) #104 as Paste-pot Pete, the Trapster has not quite yet managed to make a name for himself as anything more than a D-list villain, but hell, if he ain't trying!
Peter Petruski changed his villain alias during Fantastic Four (1961) #38 to the Trapster, and hasn't changed names since (He got close during Fantastic Four (1998)!)
He's gone up against a variety of characters, namely the Fantastic Four, Spider-man, and a random assortment of others he randomly decided to go against for fame and notablity.
I love this guy for no particular reason other than his constant patheticness throughout his misc. comic appearances, and his sheer obscurity (The MCU won't touch this guy. His fanbase is too strong!)
For some reason, comics can NOT keep a consistent design for Pete, and it's not even just like slight changes in his outfit design. It's the ENTIRE appearance, so check out this handy-dandy list I made for all of his major outfit deviations!
Here's all of his official merch too, to serve as a checklist whenever I start my Trapster collection.
